These glasses are excellent and feel very well made. The metal frames have a nice weight to them and give a high-quality impression. I really like that they use reverse hinges, which allow the arms to bend backward for extra flexibility. The lenses look great and the overall fit is very comfortable. I have worn them while driving and when out in the evening with no issues. The only drawback is the lack of an anti-glare coating on the inside of the lenses. Depending on your lighting, you may notice reflections of your own eyes. It is not a deal-breaker, but it is worth mentioning. It also comes with a blue light test card and a blue light LED. This allows you to check the glasses’ blue light blocking ability. When you shine the light directly onto the card, the area turns black, then slowly fades back to white after a few minutes. If you place the lens between the light and the card, the card stays unchanged, showing that the glasses effectively block blue light.Overall, these are stylish, sturdy, and very comfortable glasses.
I’m a loyal customer of BIRCEN and have been using their sunglasses for over 5 years. Because of an eye condition, I need to wear sunglasses almost every day to avoid sunlight. Their sunglasses are always reliable, and each pair usually lasts me 2–3 years, so I really trust this brand.Since I spend long hours in front of a computer and phone, my eyes often feel sore and dry. I needed not only sunglasses but also a pair of glasses to protect my eyes from blue light. That’s why I decided to try these BIRCEN blue light blocking glasses. The lenses have a light yellow tint that filters out part of the harmful blue light, so the screen doesn’t look as harsh anymore. At night, when working or gaming, my eyes don’t get tired as quickly, and I even notice fewer headaches. The frame is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, which makes it very lightweight. Even after long wear, it doesn’t press on my nose. The soft nose pads fit comfortably and don’t slip, and the spring hinges adapt well to different face shapes, keeping the glasses secure. The overall build feels solid and not cheap at all.The only small downside is that the lenses are slightly yellow, so colors may not look 100% accurate when watching videos or editing photos. But for daily office work, browsing, and gaming, it’s not an issue.Overall, this pair is affordable, comfortable, and really helps reduce eye strain from long hours of screen time. Highly recommended for anyone who works late or spends a lot of time gaming.
These glasses are excellent quality both frames and lenses. In fact, the frames seem to have very lightweight aluminum construction, so far more sturdy than the usual "blocker" glasses.Blue light blocking is excellent. The kit includes a little blue LED and a test card that picks up the radiant energy from the blue light. I shot a photo of the blue light THROUGH the lens, and you can see for yourself that none of the blue-tone makes it through. They fit great. Excellent value proposition. I would buy again, and may also get the "clear" pair. The pair I bought is recommended as the sleep assisting type, and I imagine it is because of the very warm red tint. For me, this is exactly what I was looking for, something to put on at the end of the night when I'm still working, but don't want to suffer the effects on my sleep. But they dramatically affect what you can see on-screen, so for normal working blue-blockers, I'd look to the lighter tints.Very happy. Recommended.
These BIRCEN blue light glasses are super well-built and beautiful to look at. They have that classic "G-Man" look that was popular in the 1950s and 1960s, and which is coming back into style. They're precisely crafted, and you can feel the quality when you hold them.Because these glasses don't distort your vision, they're a great option for use as an outfit accessory. The blue-light blocking is noticeable, especially after extended periods on the computer or looking at a smartphone. The optics are clear and crisp.I originally intended to use these glasses as "mock" glasses to add to my various outfits. However, I won't be using them outside my home, for one particular reason.I have a very large head. Most hats don't fit me, and when I shop for sunglasses, I always buy the "Large" or "Wide" size. Even so, the BIRCEN blue light blocking glasses were too large for me. My eyes are spaced apart at an average width, but, as you can see in the picture, these glasses are so wide that they made my pupils look too close together. If you have an average or smaller head, these will probably be too large for you.If you have a larger than average head, or widely spaced eyes, I can recommend giving these a try. They are super comfortable; the nose pads are soft and adjust automatically to the shape of your nose, and the ear hooks are great. I have a wide nose bridge, and these don't put any pressure on my skin whatsoever. For their beautiful look and blue light blocking, this is a great product. Just be careful about sizing!
Like I said, "I am a newbie to blue light." So, I did some research... "Does Blue Light Hurt Your Eyes?Blue light from screens does not appear to cause permanent damage to the eyes or retina under normal exposure levels. However, it can contribute to digital eye strain (also called computer vision syndrome), which includes symptoms like dry eyes, headaches, blurred vision, and discomfort." Also... "Up to 69% of computer users report eyestrain, often attributed to prolonged screen time rather than blue light alone." "Blue light is emitted by most modern digital screens, including LED-backlit LCD screens on computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones."So, there definitely is an issue with blue light. As far as how effective blue light glasses are concerned, the evidence is mixed though they may provide some relief from eyestrain. Whether they significantly reduce eye strain is a mixed opinion based on the reviewing source. For me personally, I get the feeling like my eyes are trying to super clarify what I am viewing on the screen. I would not call it a slight blur because it is relatively clear but there is a slight edge of which I am aware. The other side to this is if you are doing graphic design, and finely tuning colors these could affect your results on an acceptable level. If you are spending a lot of time in front of a screen, and feel like you are experiencing eye strain, headaches or discomfort, do some research, or talk to your ophthalmologist.
I now own about four pairs of glasses from Bircen and I've been very happy with all of them including this one. In comparison to all the other blue light glasses I own these are definitely the most well-built and thought out one. The entirety of the frames are made of metal alloy, the lenses are a bit on the bigger side, but that also means that light leaking from the edges doesn't really happen with them. The only downside to these is that the silicone nose pieces are quite loose which means if you move your nose or adjust them or put them down they could be a bit noisy, but other than that they are great. The actual lenses themselves work great as well I picked the less intense tinting since I didn't want it to affect colors too much, but it's more than enough to help with eye strain and because of their hinge design that flexes outwards there far more comfortable to wear for long periods of time because we don't squeeze on my temples as hard as some other classes. Overall I have always been very happy with Bircen for their price to quality and if you're looking to spend a little more than the average on glasses that are far better built and comfortable then I would definitely recommend these glasses. I plan on using them over all of my other previously owned blue light blocking glasses.
Huge mistake ordering these. They are comically huge. Ive never seen such big glasses except for like joke novelty glasses. Yeah, not happy 👎
Way to big
Very good, comfortable and good quality, fits perfectly according to your face and is stylish too.Overall excellent product.
Quality is great
Ecxelente producto perfecto 💯 recomendado
Great fit, super light and durable! Definitely recommend
These blue light glasses have made a big difference for me after long hours on the computer. The frames feel sturdy but lightweight, so they don't press on my nose or ears. The lenses are clear with no weird tint, and they noticeably reduce eye fatigue when I'm working or gaming. I also like the sleek design - it looks professional enough for the office and casual for home. They come with a nice case and cleaning cloth too. Great quality for the price and definitely worth it.
These glasses are extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear for long hours. The effectiveness in reducing eye fatigue is noticeable, especially during screen time. The quality feels premium, and the style is sleek and professional. Excellent blue light blocking performance and great value for money overall
These glasses deliver premium eye comfort in a stylish package. The Al-Mg metal frame is lightweight but durable, and the hinges move smoothly without loosening over time. The lenses effectively filter blue light from screens, reducing eye strain and improving focus during long work sessions. The brown tone of the frame adds sophistication that suits both casual and professional settings. They fit comfortably at the nose bridge and behind the ears without slipping. The lenses remain clear with no yellow tint, preserving true color visibility. For maintenance, wipe with the included microfiber cloth and store in a hard case. They’re an excellent investment for anyone spending hours on a computer or smartphone daily.
These are the blue light glasses I'd been looking for to help my eyes during long hours at the computer, and they absolutely deliver. The build quality is great, with a sturdy Al-Mg metal frame that feels premium, and they are stylish enough to be used even outside of a tech environment. The best endorsement I can give comes from a friend who was visiting. They used my computer for an afternoon to work on a resume and saw the glasses next to the keyboard. I returned a while later to find them wearing the glasses with a smile on their face. They said they'd been working for four hours straight and could notice a huge difference in their eye strain. They liked them so much they immediately bought their own pair!If you spend a lot of time in front of a screen, I highly recommend these. They are effective, well-made, and look great. you can look out the window of your house and notice its blocking blue light. it also comes with test equipment a card you can look at that shows the blue light blocking capabilities, as well as a blue light itself that you can see it working.
I spend a lot of time on my laptop and phone, so I wanted a pair of blue light glasses that not only helped with eye strain but also looked stylish enough to wear daily. These definitely hit the mark. The lenses are crystal clear, there’s no distracting yellow tint or distortion, which makes them perfect for computer work, scrolling on my phone, or watching TV in the evening. The lightweight metal frame feels sturdy but not heavy, and I really like the two-tone blue and silver design gives them a polished, professional look. The hinges are flexible, so they don’t feel tight on the sides of my face, and the overall fit is secure. I noticed a difference after the first few days of wearing them, less eye fatigue and fewer headaches after long work sessions. They also come packaged nicely, making them a great option if you’re looking for a small but practical gift. Overall, they’re stylish, functional, and do exactly what they claim.Small Drawback:The only minor issue is that the nose piece can feel a bit uncomfortable after extended wear, especially if you’re wearing them for several hours straight. Adjusting them slightly usually helps, and it’s not a dealbreaker considering how well they block blue light and maintain clarity.
Fit is good. They seem to work well. I decided I needed them after upgrading my computer monitor to a 55" tv. My eyes do not get tired while wearing them.
I was really impressed unboxing these. They are really better looking in person than in the photo's. Very nice frames and feel like you paid more for them. I dropped a star due to a slight rattle in the nose clip. It comes with a light that can attach to your key chain which i thought was nice and it comes with a bag with a draw string for storage and wipe of very good quality. Now these are on the larger side. So if larger glasses don't work for your face I would not recomend them to you.
These glasses appear to reduce eyestrain. I like to use them throughout the day and I have noticed less dry eyes and headaches since using these. Overall, nice product at a nice price point. I would recommend these to others.
